get to know Beth a bit better

  • Starting her career as a freelance makeup artist, Beth had a focus in special event makeup artistry in her local community. From quinceneras to face painting for her school’s sports games, Beth was the go-to gal for it all.

Beth obtained her first master certification in March of 2019 at MakeupbyHosway’s (of Master Makeup Academy) Makeup 101 course. Beth then decided to take her talents and love for makeup to the immersive world of cosmetic retail. She worked as a beauty advisor at Sephora from 2019-2020. While working at Sephora, Beth would also join the team at In The City Wax Boutique as their Client Appreciation MUA to give patrons makeovers on special occasions.

During this time, Beth also freelanced getting gigs such as Von Allen’s fashion presentation featuring Maddie Ivey “Because, Fashion” for RBMF in 2019, and Siena Liggin’s debut visual album “Ms Out Tonight” in 2020.

Since then, Beth has obtained her second master certification at Atlanta’s Industry Makeup Academy in August of 2021. She has had the pleasure of working with even more incredible talent localized in Atlanta. You can find all of this and more in her portfolio and also book her to help in any of your creative endeavors.

  • After nearly 5 years of freelancing full time, Beth got the opportunity to work at one of Atlanta’s leading ESL/language learning schools in early 2024! As a life-long polyglot and linguistics enthusiast, Beth leapt at the opportunity to join the team at the school to help those around the world achieve their personal and professional goals by learning and improving their English. Currently, she works full time at the school while continuing to freelance on the side. She has now officially opened her books again for appointments on weekday mornings, weekends, and holidays! Contact Beth directly if you need to make an appointment outside of her availability. Please keep in mind she will need ample notice to change her current schedule.

  • Beth and her mom, Mel, co-own their family business, BeMel. They are both dedicated to hand-making one-of-a-kind fashion accessories, clothing, home goods, and more!

Beth primarily focuses on bead work and jewelry design.
